Here’s British Pop Artist Lily Allen’s first single, “The Fear“, off of her second album “It’s Not Me, It’s You” which officially comes out on February 9th, under Capitol Records. Have a listen and let me know what you think.
Well, I love the accent, I’ll start with that
. For a song accompanied with techno beats, it’s actually kind of mellow. It’s something I would listen to while I’m in the club, sitting in my private seat, watching people dance to the song. It’s not something I’d jiggy or krunk with (LOL), but I could see people in UK doing so while I watch in the corner. That’s how I envision this in my head.
What do you think? Do you like The Fear by Lilly Allen?

Thanks for the link, Dexie!
I like the song, although the swearing is starting to get on my nerves a bit. There’s nothing wrong with swearing in songs but Lily seems to be doing it more for the shock factor than anything.

Yes, the song is very nice and mellow with a beat to it. Lily is in dire need of attention to sell this album, it seems.
good song
, i personally like the swearing, its sorta abstract, but thats just me
I actually didn’t start swearing until I listened to Lily Allen. People find me more tolerable and funny because of it. I like going up to elders and dropping the f bomb like “I bet you have seen a lot of effing sh*t in you life haven’t you mother effer?” MORE SWEARING LILY, THE PEOPLE WANT TO HEAR MORE SWEARING
