One of my favorite pieces in the Elizabeth and James Fall 2009 collection is this cropped fur vest! It gives fur a great youthful downtown vibe – I can totally see The City girls rocking this vest with skinnies and heels while they run around in New York City.
What I don’t love, however, is the hefty $795 price tag. It’s not yet available in stores, but can be pre-ordered online for the fall season from Intermix.
YesStyle has a similar vest at a much smaller price tag. Their Faux Fur Vest comes with an optional sash and also comes in white.
It doesn’t have the same cropped cut as the Elizabeth & James vest, but keeps the same youthful and fashionable vibe. You can order it online for only $54.00.

I will not buy anything in their Elizabeth & James Collection because they don’t have to sell fur. Their fur coats look hideous and they look like cave people wearing them. Shame on them. Those poor defenseless animals.
Why are Mary-Kate and Ashley using real fur in their line? It takes 50 rabbits to make one fur coat- how many are they planning to kill? Why can’t they use synthetic fur? Not that anyone can afford this stuff anyway, but it’s disgusting to promote it.
