Oh, dang, you guys. TMZ reported today that Real Housewives of Orange County’s Lynne Curtin blew off a court appearance today regarding a “1.2 million dollar judgement” her and her husband Frank been ordered to pay. A peek at the OC Courts website shows that this might be yet another unlawful detainer (aka eviction) filed on October 16, 2009. Not showing up to court isn’t so hot, so the judge has issured warrants for both their arrests! Now Lynne will be the prettiest girl in the jail house.
This appears to be unrelated to Lynne’s previous two evictions earlier this year, one of which we’ll get to see in an upcoming episode of Real Housewives of Orange County. If anyone with more legal prowess than me, can give me the scoop on this, do email me!

Bravo sure can pick ‘em. Will it soon be the Jail Housewives?
And I’m sure she, and the other housewives and househusbands of Orange County, are the first to complain about poor people not “paying what they deserve” and being on welfare, etc. I guess they think it’s different when the dollars have so many zeros after them.
Frank forgot his court date. Why am I not surprised?

This is too good to be true – Bravo improvising? Anyway, Lynne better watch out – Vicki will sell her out just to split the bounty hunter’s fee!
Maybe I’m just looking for the good, but I really can’t see Lynn and Frank missing a court appearance on purpose. It’s much more believable that they were
“eating brownies and mushrooms” and simply forgot their court date. Either way, hopefully they will get this cleared up soon, I’m starting to really like Lynn in a Poor-Soul-you-can’t-help-but-love-her kinda way.
But she can afford plastic surgery – pfffffffft
I just do not even know what to say. I read this last night and to be quite honest… I guess I’m just a little disappointed. (Which sounds completely stupid.)
I just find myself being able to like Lynne so easily. I don’t care what kind of drugs she’s on. Her perception on beauty and the plastic surgery is scary. The way she allows her daughters to behave is a little effed up. But, she just seems genuinely like a nice lady. Stupid, but soo nice.
I would much rather see Gretchen and Slade evicted.
Oh yeah….. I almost forgot to say. Frank probably really did forget the court date. Most pot heads have no short term memory. Completely believeable. But, some dates are worth writing down on a calendar!
Even if they really did forget, which is highly doubtful, their freakin’ lawyer would have reminded them. There is no legitimate excuse for not showing up to court unless you are in some horrific accident or something.
I cannot stand Slade! All the endless Vicki bashing that occurred on this episode was absolutely hateful and beyond unnecessary. I was so annoyed that I wanted to change the channel towards the end, but I was holding out hope that Slade would die or something. I feel like Vicki is civilized, and organized a girl’s vacay to get away from drama, then two people that hate her invited themselves and trash talked her the whole time. Talk about unfair. The fact that these men really have nothing better to do than gossip like children about their hate for Vicki is truly pathetic.
Maria – I hate to say it but something bad is going to happen to Frank (probably of his own doing) – God forgive me for that thought.
I hate to say it Rebecca, but that thought crossed my mind too. Not worth it, just do the bankruptcy and start over. They have no house or other serious assets IMO. Lynne’s cuffs are selling great from what I understand. Probably not enough to wipe out 1.2M of debt, but a good start with a clean slate.
@Danica
I don’t think that Vicki had anything to do with the plans, nor did any of the cast pay for the “vacation”. Bravo needed to mix things up for the camera so I’m sure it was them that arranged for the boys to show up. Makes for good drama.
I wonder if Slade is sleeping Andy Cohen on the side to get more air time? Just a theory.
@DUH – bankruptcy laws have changed; doubt it’s as easy for them to file. JMO.
Rebecca & DUH I too have thought the same thing.
As entertaining as some of these train wrecks may be for us viewers, it’s serious stuff. Frank looked like he was on the verge of a breakdown on the “facelift” episode. He seems to have lost control in so many aspects of his life and just appears to be going through the motions right now. Maybe a lot of it is due to editing, but we do know his plate is and has been pretty full lately!
@Michael C,
The word is that Vicki had to go to Florida anyway for an insurance convention (after last year’s life with vicki editorial snarkfest, I don’t think she wanted them there) so they just decided to have the girls go there for the trip they do every season. The W has obviously sold their entire soul to Bravo because it was also on Million Dollar Listing. Simon and Jim at least made some sense in the storyline, having Slade show up… was just annoying. That’s an interesting theory, though! I wonder if Slade is Andy’s type?
