I read the sweetest story about Maddox Jolie-Pitt over at Splash News about how much he takes after Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie when it comes to generosity.
Someone contacted Splash with an account of what happened when Maddox was at Dave & Buster’s the other day. The person in question said that Maddox was playing one of those games where you try to fish out a toy prize with a crane (am I the only one who thinks of Toy Story when I see those?) and a little girl was watching him play.
Maddox managed to pull out a silver watch from the game and when he saw that the girl was watching him intently, he walked over and gave it to her. Since she’s only six years old, she had no idea who Brad or Maddox were, just that a nice young boy gave her a prize. According to the account, “[s]he was just grinning like you wouldn’t believe. He just made her so happy!”
That is flippin’ ADORABLE. I love that Maddox gave a prize away to a girl just for the sake of being nice. All the humanitarian efforts that he has witnessed alongside his parents have clearly made an impression – though maybe it also means he’s going to be one heck of a good flirt too!

First to all our friends in the Phillippines I know that storm is due there today, hope you all remain safe and sound.
Marilynn, thanks for the link. It is dated today Oct.2 from Damascus, Syria. It shows pictures of Angie talking to a family and a picture of Brad talking to another family. I believe that it is a current picture because of his facial hair. In fact it looks even more grown in then last week. I was not able to watch the video’s because I have a problem with my computer. The Jolie-Pitts certainly get around. I am proud to be a fan of this powerful couple and their family.
With the world the way it is, I think we need more stories of love, compassion and caring. Mad looks to be a positive person. I bet he learned that at home. About the twins, I am sure pittwatchers we will get a glimpse someday soon.Be patient. Love to you all.
And and Brad went to Pakistan, not sure when though. I didn’t have time to read the ful article, there’s a little video too.

i don´t want to be rude, but why should they take the twins out for everyone to see? why is it so weird that they want to keep the little ones away from the press which would go crazy? they are their parents, there is no reason WE should question what they do with their kids.
its sad that Brads sister had to shut down her blog, or at least keep it private. who knows what nuts visited her on the blog…
Victoria – you´re so right. Now that I think back a little bit I remember seing pics of Brad in Ethiopia BEFORE he even met Angie. And I´ve also read stories that Doug has been active in charity work before and so has their mum Jane. So your opinion in just right. Maybe Angie helped Julie and Rob a little bit in the adoption process and was some sort of a catalyst of those adoptions. But maybe they (the rest of the Pitt family) has gotten even more involved in charity after Angie came into their family. Who knows. Still it´s a great thing that Cruz and Caden have become a part of this ever-expanding Pitt-Neal family. God bless the whole big Pitt-Neal clan!
Well said Victoria, I feel the same on this. I’m sure they were all raised to be good people and each of them are strong individuals and they are not so easy to influence in their private lives, and also I think they were pretty sure how they wanted their lives to be long before Angie met Brad. And all of their actions weren’t known just because there wasn’t so much media attention and all the paparazzi haunting their brother. Anyway they all are such beautiful persons and such a good example for the people around the world.

I just got off the phone with Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick…..
I know I read somewhere that you guys would love to get Will Smith. Anyone else you’d like to cast?
Paul Wernick: Angelina Jolie
Rhett Reese: Yeah, we always pictured Will Smith and Angelina Jolie in the movie.
Wernick: We pictured a small indie movie in our minds. [laughs]
Reese: We’re writing the second draft for Universal, so we’ll see where it ends up. Mr. Smith, if you’re listening, would you like to take a trip to the moon?
I think it is a little belittling to the Pitt family to assume that it was only Angie that made them such philantropic people. As far as I know, Doug has been involved in some campaign that works for clean water in Africa for years, long before Brad and Angie got together. And Brad was already in Africa for some project when he was still married. So while it is entirely possible that Angie and Brad´s adoptions acted as a catalyst or extra motivator, it might just as well be independent from Brad and Angie that Julie and husband decided to adopt.
Somehow this whole “what a wonderful influence Angie is on the Pitt family” doesn´t feel right. It makes them sound like uncaring, ignorant people before Angie came into their lives.
What a wonderful influence Angie has had on the whole Pitt family! Those two boys that Julie and Rob have adopted have got a really wonderful and loving family with loving parents, siblings, grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins. Especially Zee must be in cloud nine now becauze she has two cousins from her home country. Caden and Cruz are so lucky to have Julie and Rob as their mum and dad. They look really adorable little boys. Angie sure helped Julie a lot during the adoption process by helping her to fill all the application forms etc. Brad sure is very proud of his younger sister and brother-in-law that they adopted these to little orphan boys and gave them home. God bless this whole large Pitt family!
joliepittfanatic, just we don’t see the twin’s photos does not mean they didn’t go outings.
It means paparazzi couldn’t get opportunity of taking their photos. If paparazzi’s photos means everything human’s life seems miserable and sad.
The twins have been traveled with them. They must have enjoyed outing in Kenyan national park or could have visited Springfield etc without being bothered by paparazzi. No photos was THE BEST thing for them. I felt relieved when recent Shi & Z’s Brignoles grocery shopping with their parents photos went under rader of major gossip media.
Obsession toward celeb’s chiledren is limited in certain countries ( US is typical )and is not international. Celeb’s children are legally protected from media like some couties in Europe and Japan. US’s tendency is not the global standard.
I forgot to mention last night that I wonder how in the world Angie and Brad explain to the older kids (particularly Zee and Shi who are, as Angie said, “little mommies” to the twins) that the twins can’t go with them on outings.
UNDER MOD- Response to Kati.
Kati- While I DO indeed wonder about why they haven’t brought the twins out, I highly doubt that it has to do with their health and/or that Angie and Brad are hiding something. First of all, if the twins really did have health concerns, do you really think they would have taken them to Kenya a few weeks ago? Second, it was mentioned in the PEOPLE article about their first birthday that they are walking and “keeping their parents and older siblings on their toes chasing after them” (or something to that effect).
And third, Angie and Brad are pretty much the most honest, open celebs on Earth! They’re the last celebs I’d expect to hide something like some of their kids having health concerns!
Also, Kati, I’m confused as to what you mean about Shiloh. There were several good, clear shots of her out for walks in New Orleans with Angie, Brad, and Zee when she was between 8 and 10 months old (the pictures were taken around the same time Pax was adopted). I’d say that was her first public introduction. :)
Irma – oh my.. i’m beginning to get really worried! the typhoon that is coming is like the ones that hit New Orleans (Katrina).. it’s not yet raining but clouds are forming.. the gov’t and people here are ready, preemptive evacuation is done early morning on this day.. i do hope people will get over this, it’s very traumatic since most places is still under water..
God Bless the Philippines!
thank you!
Mary -Ann, we need a lot of prayers for the people of the Philippines. Another big one is coming, I hope, the govt. & the people are ready for this one.I heard some bit & pcs. of news about my family back home thru my niece in Toronto who was able to call her mom, they are ok but not really ok. Material things can be replaced but not their lives. Glad that they are alive.
Jolie-Pitt news made me through the day. Nice to be here at Pittwatch, so many fans here are very nice & loving people. God bless you all. God bless the Jolie-Pitt family.
Good morning Pittwatchers!
Mary Ann – thank you for your prayers! yes another supertyphoon is coming and still many places here is still under water.. God Bless everyone!
Kimmy, there´s a photo (in this yuku link you posted) of the young Pitt family. Brad and Doug look like twins, so similar. And Jane Pitt truly looks like Shiloh on that picture.
As for the Julie Neal family picture, I thought that her one twin daughter (the thinner one, with darker hair) also looks just like Jane Pitt, AND like Brad, for that matter. Could be Brad´s daughter.
Maddox and all the Jolie-Pitt children will all be kind and loving. How we raise our children is very important. But I have also learned that we all try as hard as we can to raise good children, but sometimes some of them will grow up and have problems. But then you have to work even harder to get them through the problem and on to good lives. Brad and Angie will lead by example.
To all our friends who live or have family in the Phillippines I am still praying for you. From what I saw on the news today another very large storm is heading your way. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
