All of a sudden I want some ice cream, how about you?
What do you think brother Jake thinks of this when he comes over to visit, I wonder?
Oh, and just an FYI – that baby is not gettting any milk. She’s not properly latched on. She’s just playing with Mommy’s nipple. If she’s getting ANYTHING out of that nip I’d be very surprised (mom of three talking here).

WTG Maggie for NIP!!
YAY for her!!! And yes, the baby COULD be getting milk~my 15mth old baby girl does the same thing & I know shes getting milk because I can hear her swallowing. GO MAGGIE!!!
I applaud Maggie for NIP! We need more people who are in the public ey to NIP, to show the rest of the public that it is perfectly healthy, appropriate, and that it should not be discriminated against! You go Maggie!
I have to disagree about baby not getting milk. Sometimes my 5 month olds latch looks like that when she’s pulling her head away from me and she’s still getting milk!!
Yay for Maggie breastfeeding in public! I wish more mothers were like her.
As for the baby not getting any milk like that, I totally disagree. I can think of many times that my son has pulled my nipple like that before he pops off and milk still comes streaming out.
The baby is nursing, the pictures are as the baby is coming off the breast.
Good for Maggie! We need more cloth diapering, breastfeeding mamas out there who aren’t afraid to nurse in public–whether baby wants to eat…or just have some mama bonding time.
With the rising number of breastfeeding mothers being shunned and removed from public venues (illegally, I might add) it takes some gutsy celebrities like Maggie to remind us that it’s ok to feed our babies wherever we happen to be–bottle OR breast.
