Brad Pitt and Make It Right have already done so much to help the people of New Orleans and MIR is now trying to help others be as green as they can be on top of that.
Their website has expanded recently to include some educational blogs, including “Green Technology” and “Rebuilding”. For anyone who has an interest in making their home as environmentally friendly as possible it’s a great resource that includes articles, tips, and video.
They also added a great gallery of completed Make It Right homes so we can all see the new homes residents of the Lower Ninth Ward have been able to move into after being stuck in limbo for so long.
While you’re there, if you’re celebrating the American Thanksgiving this week or are preparing for December’s holiday season, maybe you can make a little donation to help a family in need if you have the means. It’s great to support Brad Pitt while he supports New Orleans and it’s awesome to see how well Make It Right is doing.

Brad is really doing great things to help Katrina victims. FEMA is still paying rent for Katrina victims in Houston. It has been over three years since Katrina hit Biloxi and the levees broke in New Orleans.The number of Ike victims still waiting for fema or their insurance to pay for the damage. Ike just didn’t flood it totally knocked down everything in it’s path. It was a catagory 2 but had the water of a 4. Thousands have lost everything. My sister lost her house and garage. Anything less that 16 feet above sea level was washed away. Dead cattle and all anmals were drowned. There is a lot of farmland thAT WAS TOTALLY WASHED AWAY. Whole coastl towns were washed away. There were over forty people that was washed away. Many were planning to evacuate but the flood water came in 36 hours before the storm came in. People were stranded with no way to get out. Did any of you see the lone house in Gilcrest. Rita hit also and destroyed thousands of homes. I wonder why all we ever hear about is New Orleans.Missippi and Alabama were harder hit than New Orleans. I went though 4 hurricanes in Fla. and we made it just fine. Could the mayor or Govenor done anything, first. Nothing happened until he President of the United States toured the damage in a helecopter and got the federal govn. involved.
New Orleans is one of the most crooked places to do business. It is well known that if a company wanted to do business, you had to grease a lot of palms. Maybe the corruption had something to do with the levees failing.
Brad & Angie are the best. God bless them.

Brad is really a great person.. i wish a people like him will build houses here in the Philippines for those people who lost their homes during the typhoon.. but the government here is doing their best to relocate them in a more safer place.. KUDOS to Brad for this!

kimmy- I saw that article as well. I sort of hope the rumor about the love-making scene isn’t true. I mean, can you imagine the nasty lies the tabs will invent if it is?
As for the poll….I have no problem with it. Obviously not everyone is going to think that MMS was Angie’s best movie.
I am not even sure if The Tourist will have a really sexy scene. I am not familiar with the story. Is it a thriller?
joliepittfanatic – about the poll, the thing that i don’t like it is the “Which of these A-listers’ previous sex scenes would Angie and Johnny have to beat to outdo themselves in The Tourist? “, I mean they don’t have to beat anything because a scene in every movie is unique for that movie.. you will have to compare and that is what I find not good.. you don’t have to compare, let them do scenes the way they wan’t it.. they don’t have to beat any scenes just to prove anything..
about tabz, there are some nasty things that L&S is saying now.. L&S claims that they have a copy a scene of The Tourist and really(about the love scenes I think).. creating stories even before the movie started and another JD doesn’t even confirm if he was in the movie..

Russian Oscar-winning director to invite Jolie to star in movie
Russian Oscar-winning film director Nikita Mikhalkov will soon start shooting a new WWII drama and plans to invite Angelina Jolie to take the main role, the Komsomolskaya Pravda daily said on Tuesday.
The new movie Love and War is based on a love story between three girls from a Moldovan village and three soldiers from Romania, Russia and Italy. The production will start in spring 2010 when Mikhalkov completes work on Burnt by the Sun 2, a sequel to the movie that won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 1994.
Love and War will be a joint Russian-Italian-Moldovan project, which also involves Italian and Moldovan directors Francesco Gagliardi and Valeriu Jereghi.
Jolie has been invited to play a school teacher, who witnessed the executions of her family and whose fiance was killed at the beginning of World War II.
The Hollywood star has so far not responded. “The script has already been sent to Angelina and we are waiting for her answer,” said Gagliardi.

Wow, AJ is being chased by lots of scripts nowadays. Producers, directors, writers,authors want her to make films for them. That’s what we call A-list actress with so much power that she is always being considered for sensible roles. While other celebrities are whining for not being offered to such roles, AJ is possibly having difficulty in selecting which films to accept. Scripts go to her not the other way around, and that’s the power of AJ.

@ “a fan”: I am so sorry your sister lost her home and had to go through such a horrible disaster like that. I guess the reason why we hear about New Orleans more is because a lot of celebrities got involved when Katrina hit, and some are still very much involved with that city. I can still remember seeing people like Pitt and Clooney answering phones and taking donations back in 2005 when it first happened. The truth of the matter is, a lot of horrible, but yet incredibly important stories just dont make news the way they should unless a famous individual gets involved and continues to speak about it, over and over. The media is to busy reporting ridiculous reality star stories and who’s breaking up with who in Hollywood. We still get our important news, but now a days it seems there are limited important stories and more celeb/reality people garbage.

The poll on people.com is so for sexiest love scene, not a poll for her best movie. The majority did choose Mr & Mrs Smith. That movie really is hot.
Angelina is an adult guys. Is she really not supposed to do a love scene because some trash mag is going to make up nonsense? They’re going to make up stories regardless of what she does. And you wont know whats being said if you don’t read it. She doesn’t care or read it, why should her fans? There are people who will believe that crap because they WANT to, they would rather believe the negative than the positive, and I think we all know Angelina doesn’t care what they believe. So why should we?
I jus cheked out the Make It Right website and I have to say the stories and pics made me cry!! If i culd, id giv them evry dollar to my name!!! I hate how this natural disaster shook so many lives bt i am soooo glad that ther are ppl out there like Brad who is dead set for helping!!! LONG LIVE BRANGELINA!!
Make it right has done so much good. If we had more celeb’s becoming involved than many areas could be helped. It appears that it is the same celeb’s all the time.
