I guess the reason why we hear about New Orleans more is because a lot of celebrities got involved when Katrina hit, and some are still very much involved with that city. I can still remember seeing people like Pitt and Clooney answering phones and taking donations back in 2005 when it first happened. The truth of the matter is, a lot of horrible, but yet incredibly important stories just dont make news the way they should unless a famous individual gets involved and continues to speak about it, over and over. The media is to busy reporting ridiculous reality star stories and who’s breaking up with who in Hollywood. We still get our important news, but now a days it seems there are limited important stories and more celeb/reality people garbage.

The poll on people.com is so for sexiest love scene, not a poll for her best movie. The majority did choose Mr & Mrs Smith. That movie really is hot. ;)

Angelina is an adult guys. Is she really not supposed to do a love scene because some trash mag is going to make up nonsense? They’re going to make up stories regardless of what she does. And you wont know whats being said if you don’t read it. She doesn’t care or read it, why should her fans? There are people who will believe that crap because they WANT to, they would rather believe the negative than the positive, and I think we all know Angelina doesn’t care what they believe. So why should we?

That’s what we call A-list actress with so much power that she is always being considered for sensible roles. While other celebrities are whining for not being offered to such roles, AJ is possibly having difficulty in selecting which films to accept. Scripts go to her not the other way around, and that’s the power of AJ.

Russian Oscar-winning director to invite Jolie to star in movie

Russian Oscar-winning film director Nikita Mikhalkov will soon start shooting a new WWII drama and plans to invite Angelina Jolie to take the main role, the Komsomolskaya Pravda daily said on Tuesday.

The new movie Love and War is based on a love story between three girls from a Moldovan village and three soldiers from Romania, Russia and Italy. The production will start in spring 2010 when Mikhalkov completes work on Burnt by the Sun 2, a sequel to the movie that won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 1994.

Love and War will be a joint Russian-Italian-Moldovan project, which also involves Italian and Moldovan directors Francesco Gagliardi and Valeriu Jereghi.

Jolie has been invited to play a school teacher, who witnessed the executions of her family and whose fiance was killed at the beginning of World War II.
The Hollywood star has so far not responded. “The script has already been sent to Angelina and we are waiting for her answer,” said Gagliardi.

about tabz, there are some nasty things that L&S is saying now.. L&S claims that they have a copy a scene of The Tourist and really(about the love scenes I think).. creating stories even before the movie started and another JD doesn’t even confirm if he was in the movie..

As for the poll….I have no problem with it. Obviously not everyone is going to think that MMS was Angie’s best movie. :)
