On Monday, Beyoncé was in Florida at the BankAtlantic Center performing for her “I Am” Tour, where she helped a man propose to his girlfriend during her song “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).” Apparently, during
this song, she was in the middle of singing when she suddenly stopped. The lights went out and Bey said, “I need a light” which was followed by the illumination of a spot light.
She tells the audience, “I’m not sure if production knows about this but Lindell has something he wants to sing.” She handed the mic to a man in the audience who said, “Beyonce, you told me if I like it, I need to put a ring on it.”
He dropped to one knee and pulled out a ring, followed by him asking his girlfriend to marry him. Let me remind you that this is a 20,000+ crowd. His girlfriend nodded and said yes to the proposal, to which the crowd went wild over.
How awesome is that?! That is just too cute!! I bet everyone was a bit worried during the whole production of the lights going out and I can’t imagine what his girlfriend must have been thinking when he took that microphone. Everyone deserves to be proposed to like that!
