Marc Anthony Sets Attendance Record

Marc Anthony isn’t a stranger to breaking records, but he’s got to be proud of this latest one. At his concert last weekend, he became the highest grossing Hispanic act ever at the Miami’s American Airlines Arena.

Marc drew a “standing-room only crowd of 15,000 and garnered gross box office receipts of $1.2 million.” To help commemorate this important milestone, American Airlines is doing something special. The company is giving Marc a special award. Because he didn’t just bring in the fans for this one concert. He “helped bring more than 125,000 fans at the arena through 10 shows during the last three years. The combined shows generated a total gross of $9.3 million.”

Nice.

Also nice to see that American Airlines recognizes this and is honoring Marc.

tell me this. Would’ve that happened if he wasn’t married to Jennifer?I doubt it.After all Jennifer appears and sings at most of his concerts. That’s what brings people in.I think she should keep her relationship and business seperate. It only ruining her career not his

Actually Marc set a record that was in the Guinness Book for being the largest salsa performer way back in the early 90s. So I think he’d still be popular without Jlo.

I’m not sure singing with Marc has ruined her career, but it might be that some people go to the concerts so they can get a “Jlo sighting.”
