Today, New Orleans native, Ellen Degeneres, honored Mardi Gras by devoting most of the hour on her daytime talk show to the annual celebration. High energy fitness guru, Richard Simmons served as a correspondent live from Mardi Gras and he looked like he had a great time (I wish I was there!!!).
Ellen also had two audience members play a game called “Flash Me Your Falsies” where they had to attempt to answer a series of questions by “flashing” the correct response to Ellen. The winner got an all-expenses paid trip to New Orleans!
Tennis great, Serena Williams, was also on the show. She participated in a game called “Smash My Face” where she had to hit three pictures of Ellen with tennis balls so that everyone in the audience could go home with a New Orleans-style King Cake!
