Singer, Mariah Carey, performed “Fly Like a Bird” on the Idol Gives Back earlier tonight. I wasn’t a fan of her performance but I am really happy that she was there :)
she definitely lip synced the second part. you guys must not be singer and dont know anything about music and performance, you clearly don’t know how to distinguish real vocals from pre recorded ones. mariah cannot sing like she used to. it’s sad. she’s amounted to a studio singer. who would’ve thought.
Sanaa i dont think she’s taking care of her voice. you have to nurse and protect your voice or it will diminish. she parties and drinks a lot. im sure she also smokes.
amazing like usually, this performance wasn’t pre-recorded, her high notes were hot, and her voice is soooo beautiful. She looked gorgeous too, i love her. congrats on her 18th #1, and many more to come

There is no way she lipped this…either way she is an AMAZING singer! :)

She looks great. But I think her re-taped vocals kicked in on the second half of the song. She is known to do it that way. ON SNL she was really bad
Can anyone in the know tell me how can your voice go from 90′s Mariah to current day Mariah. Does it happen from singing too high for so long? Thanks.
Not a perfect, but still great performance from Mariah and she looked spectacular.
