My statement was that a 9-10 week commitment of 6 nights a week would be difficult on any child let alone a child who is still considered a toddler at 2. Sure people have done it and will continue to do it. Since this is Katie's dream anyway, I hope the play is successful and that she enjoys it because it could launch a whole new career for her. Broadway is tough tho and the critics can be harsh so everything better go smooth as butter for the whole cast and company, especially since they are going to do this limited run thing.
