It was and still is so big, I really don't think that it can be touched by a remake. I might be wrong. I think a follow-up to Dirty Dancing would be nice, I heard it mentioned somewhere that people were wanting to know what happened next. The only person who could and should be Johnny Castle is Patrick Swayze, and there should be no other Baby then Jennifer Grey. I don’t think a remake of the original is a good idea.
