‘The Wackness’, starring Mary-Kate Olsen and Ben Kingsley still isn’t up on IMDB yet, but Variety had the following to say about the mysterious film:
Ben Kingsley, Josh Peck, Famke Janssen, Mary-Kate Olsen, Olivia Thirlby and Method Man have been cast in Occupant Films comedy “The Wackness.”
Occupant partners Keith Calder, Felipe Marino and Joe Neurauter are producing. Jonathan Levine directs from his own script; lensing recently started in New York.
Story, set in 1994, centers on a troubled teenage drug dealer [Peck] and a drug-addled psychiatrist [Kingsley] — after the former trades pot for therapy sessions, then falls for the doctor’s daughter [Thirlby].
Levine made his directorial debut on Occupant horror film “All the Boys Love Mandy Lane,” set for release next year via Senator.
Occupant is in post-production on Peter Himmelstein’s “The Key Man,” starring Jack Davenport, Hugo Weaving, Brian Cox and Judy Greer.
I have no idea when this film is coming out or what roles MK and Method Man play. My guess it will be submitted to film festivals for next year. As soon as I get more information, I’ll let you know!

Ben Kingsley is the Psychiatrist Famke Janssen is his wife Olivia Thirlby is their daughter Josh Peck is the teen drug dealer
no idea on Mary Kate and Method Man’s roles
but they should be family of Josh Peck as the film centers on Ben and Josh’s relationships with their families and close one
Josh Peck’s character is in love with Olivia Thirby’s character
and i dont think Famke Janssen’s character is happy about it…
