I kicked myself for missing it last night, but Matt Czuchry made his first appearance on Friday Night Lights last night (January 18) in episode 2.12 "Who Do You Think You Are?" Matt Czuchry will be making a few guest appearances on the show. He will be in at least 4 episodes of the show, so keep tuned in every Friday to NBC at 9/8c to see Matt Czuchry back on tv!

In the episode, Lyla works as a co-host on a radio station where Chris (Matt Czuchry) is host of the "Teen Christian" radio show. It takes very little time before Chris and Lyla are kissing.

It was nice to see Matt Czuchry again especially playing the role of a Christian DJ which is so different than the character of Logan Huntzberger. You are totally drawn into his new character but you can’t help but think it’s Logan. When he kisses Minka Kelly (Lyla) it really reminded me of all the kisses he had with Alexis Bledel. I’m looking forward to the storyline and hope to see more of Matt’s future work. He’s a very good actor and deserves to be cast in more roles.
There were several ex-Gilmore actors on TV recently. Did any of you see Sean Gunn on October Road last Monday? His character Rooster had longer air time in that episode. He had a romantic scene with the character Janet. Also, Ed Hermann was on 30 Rock last week. He played a member of the condo board who was interviewing Tina Fey.

aww i miss his hair from gilmore girls. still…he did an awesome job in that episode and can’t wait to see him in upcoming episodes.

[...] In this past episode of Friday Night Lights, Matt Czuchry made his second guest-star appearance as Chris, the religious ‘good guy’ who is the new romantic interest for Lyla. Matt does a great job acting in this episode – particularly in the church, which was a real church with a real audience.
