“Melissa and Matt LeBlanc have decided to end their marriage of three years,” a statement on behalf of the couple reads. “The dissolution is amicable. They remain devoted parents and friends. For the sake of their family, they ask that their privacy be respected at this time.”
The “Joey” star, 38, filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court Thursday, citing “irreconcilable differences” to end his marriage with Melissa, 41, a former model. The couple separated in January.

What’s most sad is there are three children involved here. Marina, the two-year-old they have together and the two stepchildren Melissa has from a previous marriage.
Children are resilient for the most part, but they should only have to endure so much and should be allowed to be “just kids” as long as possible.
Constant breakups and moves can wreck havoc on tiny emotional stability – no matter how wealthy you are.
Yeah, I watched Oprah where she had some memorable guests from the last 20 years on, and she talked about Betty Broderick (she shot and killed her ex husband and his g/f or wife). Oprah had Rhett Broderick on the show, Betty’s son, he was 10 when the murders happened. He mentioned that he’d gone to live with Aunts and Uncles and one set of them decided he would be better off going to military school, boarding schools, cammping things for troubled teenagers..etc. He even mentioned that he’d been through so much already that he didn’t see how anyone thought that would make it better. I felt for him when he said that, but he seemed like a decent guy too.
