Today, we finally get to watch what may have been originally the second episode of this season, if we go by NBC’s photos. The promo photos for Girls Ain’t Nothing But Trouble say 62-02. This is the one where Devalos finally makes an appearance. I missed him and I’m sure Allison did, too!
To celebrate his return, my brother whipped up his heart attack cheesy nachos. They’re sooo good, but it is hard to find a nacho under the four different kinds of cheese melted across the top! Of course, Devalos wouldn’t be able to eat them and some of you are watching what you eat, so we also have a big tray of fresh veggies and dip.
Since he’s showing a lot of grit by coming back and being true to himself, let’s have Grit Cocktails:
1 1/2 oz Irish Whiskey
1 1/2 oz Vermouth
(I’m a bubbly wine girl myself, so I’ll be breaking open a bottle of Champagne, too.)

Katelyn, I’m sending an e-bomb toblow up the spam filter. It hates me! It keeps eating my comments.

Sorry Dawn,
I hauled you out. I think part of the problem is there were several weeks of hype while we waited for it to restart and we had really high expectations? I kind of liked this episode myself, but I wandered away during the commercials near the end, misjudged my time and missed the last few minutes.Thank goodness I can catch it online.

What hype, Katelyn? NBC started off the year doing a decent job of promoting the show, but since then, they’ve done nothing. I’ve actually taped a couple of nights of primetime on NBC just to see what kind of promotion it gets, and it’s nothing. In one three-hour block of programming on a Thursday night, I saw ONE very brief commercial for Medium during Lipstick Jungle, while an hour of Deal (which is the obvious best matchup for Medium) had NO commercials at all for Medium. And this week I heard a radio spot for NBC touting their all-new Monday night lineup and raving about the sensational Deal or No Deal and My Dad is Better than your Dad, followed by (I kid you not), “followed by an all-new Medium.” That was it. That was the extent of the promotion that NBC gave Medium on that sixty-second spot. It’s sickening the way NBC treats this show.
