Patricia wakes up in an elegant bedroom and walks down to a gorgeous kitchen with a hubby in tennis whites. The kids come in from the pool and Allison tries to open a door.

Joe gets upset when she tries to open it and warns her it was their deal to never look behind it. She pulls it open anyway to see bloody walls.

Allison wakes up and all is as it always is.

Caitlyn calls Allison to ask her to meet for lunch. She brushes her off and heads out to meet Lee.

She steps into a place belonging to the missing Autumn. She sees blood and a battered body. Lee sees a shiny, beautiful room.

Ariel heads to school, worried about the PSAT’s, only to hear that a classmate drowned after a car accident.

Caitlyn stops Allison on the way to her car and talks to her about being a psychic for the private sector.

Allison isn’t really interested in the job offer, but the high six figure salary? Umm. Maybe she’ll have second thoughts.

Joe is interested. Allison feels intrigued. “What does it mean when she says high six figures?”
Joe – “It means you call her tomorrow.”

And someone is throwing suitcases in the river. And ick. The one that he unzipped had a body.

Allison asks for some personal time. Devalos is fine with it. Especially since Allison’s phone call the other night gave them the clues they needed to find poor dead Autumn and two other girls.

Wow. Allison looks hot.

Allison is going to sit in on Caitlyn’s two o’clock. Caitlyn throws away a casual, “Like your boss said, everyone takes a little personal time now and then.

Meanwhile, Ariel is in the bathroom when her books start floating away. She looks up and sees the drowned and dripping Stacy Ann.

Caitlyn watches a commercial and says that it isn’t aimed at the right people. Kids are the only ones who will buy the expensive phone being marketed. She finishes with, “Of course I’m sure, Ted. I drempt it.”

Caitlyn dreams for 4 hours a day and gets paid six figures. I might want her job!

She’s pressuring Allison to take the job Monday. Allison doesn’t want to leave Devalos in the lurch. Caitlyn gives her til Friday.

Allison isn’t sure about the job and Ariel gets dripped on by the dead girl and doesn’t finish her practice test.

Ariel’s best friend suggests she tries her anxiety disorder pills. Ariel looks up, sees Stacy Ann standing there all drowned and agrees. Here is the substance abuse we’ve been hearing about.

Allison goes to break the news to Devalos. He says nothing. Allison is worried and he explains he is day dreaming about his stock portfolio and how it will do better with her at Lydecker. He tells her to go. He’ll miss her but she needs to do it for her family.

She comes home to a dance party. Lydecker sent presents.

Allison is worried. Joe wants to celebrate.
“Let’s go crazy. We can order appetizers and desserts. I might even draw on the placemats with crayons.”

And we’re back to the bloodbath dream.

Scanlon stops by to say goodbye.

Ariel says the pill didn’t really do anything for her. Then she goes out the door and steps in a flood of water.

She steps into an English classroom and there is writing on the board. The teacher catches her and tells her she should be elsewhere. She glances back at the board and it is completely different.

Allison signs a contract and gets told to log every dream in a book. Devalos calls and asks her to remember to hand in her id and other stuff.

She gets off the elevator at work and the building’s empty. Steps into a conference room and…they’re throwing her a farewell party.

Scanlon and Devalos crack a bunch of rich people jokes. Then Scanlon says, “Hate to quip and run…” and heads off to canvas for clues. His ride comes and it is the guy she saw cleaning blood off the mirror fromthe bloodbath dream.

Lee blows Allison off. He won’t question the lead detective on the case.

Allison has a dream about another death and calls Lee. He tells her the detective didn’t do it because he has been with him all night.

Allison dreams about her first day and then…has her first day.

They meet with Mr. Lydecker and then Caitlyn wants to take Allison clothes shopping.

Allison looks at her boss in a bright, elegant room and sees him weeping alone in a conference room.

Ariel loves those anti anxiety pills, but her friend won’t give her more. She starts crying. She gets two more pills.

Allison tries on a ton of clothes.

Allison drives home in her fancy car and Joe is happy to discover she is still smiling at bed time.

Allison falls asleep and sees the same lead detective putting together a new bloodbath.

Wait a second. He didn’t kill her. He cleaned up after the killer.

Ashley’s dad calls Joe. It sounds like Ariel is going to get caught.

Allison reports to her boss that one guy gives her a dark feeling.

Ariel seeing the dead girl reminded me of that episode early in season two when Allison kept seeing that creepy old guy.

What I missed talking about: Allison and Joe confront Ariel about her drug use and Allison decides to take her to the doctor for a prescription.

Allison calls Lee and he agrees to take a look at the lead detective. He ends up shooting him in self defense. Now, they don’t know who the killer is.

Allison dreams that Mr. Lydecker’s son killed himself. She can’t get a hold of him.

Ariel dreams a teacher is dead. She gets to school and sees the same teacher standing there.

Allison goes to Mr. Lydecker and tells him about his son. He almost blows her off and is more concerned about the fact that she mentioned her dreams to Lee.

Mr. Lydecker explains that Allison cannot tell Lee or Devalos about any of her thoughts or dreams. He owns them all and telling them is an act of theft.

He appreciates her sense of civic responsibility and he will sue her to here and back if she ever shares her dreams again. He wants her to be happy, though.

Hmm. I can’t see her sitting still for that. I wonder if she can get out of her contract?
