Medium Moment for the Week of Nov. 23rd

I know I very recently highlighted season one episode three’s “A Couple of Choices” in a Medium Moment, but that episode was just so filled with great lines and Manuel Devalos, who doesn’t have as many really funny lines as some of the Medium gang, really has a spectacular one here.

Manny (played by Miguel Sandoval) is trying to help his good friend Scanlon, who seems to be having a pretty spectacular career destroying meltdown as he chases clues in any case that makes him think the killer who murdered his sister and her husband. He’s trying to keep Scanlon from losing his job, trying to get Allison to help while Scanlon is being a sceptic…well, he’s juggling a lot.

And then he lets go with this absolutely perfect line:

“Personally, I think you’re up to your neck in a duck pond, detective.”

Is there anything better than that? Seriously, is there?
