Medium Season 5 Now Available on DVD

51Y17zDoacL._SL160_Today is the release date for Medium: The Complete Fifth Season on DVD. Amazon has it for $42.49, with free Super Saver Shipping. They’re also selling Medium: Seasons 1-5 for only $134.99 with free shipping. Granted, that’s a lot of money, but for all five seasons? That’s a pretty good deal in general. Of course, you can also find the DVDs at Best Buy, or other retailers.

Are you planning on picking up the set?

I would like to! I think I will have to be patient though, it would cost me an extra twenty dollars to get it to me. We’ve got regular postal strikes right now, so I begrudge giving the mail organisation anything extra, especially when they’re so rubbish!

There was a badly researched review (spot the obvious mistake!) over at that blog critics site you linked in a recent entry.

  2. Gina

Yes ,Of course, I will buy season 5 .I already have 1-4.
Linda, I’m not sure what blog you looked at to find the mistake, I will check Kona’s links again but you don’t say which entry it is from.
I have looked at the reviews at the CBS site and the majority were not good for last week.

  3. Linda

Sorry Gina, the review is here. I was multi-tasking making dinner and then watching television.

Thanks Linda, I checked the link HA-HA that was very funny the CBS/NBC switcheroo!

I just bought the season! It costed me 64 dollars! I was like, anything for Medium, even know I was kicking myself while spending the money. I’m watching it already, the best series in the world!!!

I think season 5 is the cheapest at deepdiscountdvd.com I paid less than $40. BTW has anyone seen the special feature Q&A with Patricia and Jake on Disc 5 of season 5, if you haven’t I recommend you do. It is really sweet I really enjoyed it.

FINALLY got this today!!! Yahooo!! It’s awesome and I’m so excited it’s finally out. LOVED the Q&A with Jake and Patricia. That was so sweet and funny. And the Making of Season 5 was great too. That one is always one of my favorites. But I do have a couple of minor complaints.

Glenn Caron, wth? NO DELETED SCENES? NO GAG REEL? Those have always been the best parts, and nothing this time! That blows. My mother was really hoping to see the scene that I shot with Patricia Arquette in the season finale. She is going to be SO disappointed.

    Bummer!

I know. I was just reading earlier on about the special features.

That’s a shame for you, especially for your mother. At least you have the memories, I suppose.

I did wonder if there were restrictions on what footage they could use because of the NBC mess.

  9. Michael

What footage with Patricia Arquette in the season finale? Does anybody know? I kind of got lost

Sorry, Michael, if I threw you for a loop with my little rant, lol! I was lucky enough to win the chance to do a walk-on in the season 5 finale (in a charity auction). I was a nurse in the ICU scene at the very end, but unfortunately, due to time constraints or whatever (maybe I just sucked, lol!), the scene was cut short.

It was still an exciting day, and yes, I will cherish the memories always. Oh, well. C’est la vie.

But it was one of the best days of my life, without a doubt. The entire cast and crew treated me splendidly, and made me feel like an honored guest all day. They were gracious and kind to me, explaining everything to me, showing me around, and just being all around good eggs. Patricia Arquette was a doll to work with. She is just the sweetest person I’ve ever met. As beautiful inside as she is on the outside. Warm, funny, charming, and gracious beyond description. And Jake Weber is a dream as well. Witty, funny and charming as well, he is so much more gorgeous in person!
Laurie Seidman, who is one of the producers, showed me around all day, and was patient and sweet with me, enduring my dozens upon dozens of questions, lol! What a sweetheart! I wish I could have met more of the cast and crew, but there wasn’t enough time, dangit! But the ones that I did meet made it a day to remember.
Btw, if any of the Medium gang is reading this, my heartfelt thanks go out to all of you again, for giving me the greatest day of my life so far.
