In Hack he played an ex cop who drove a cab. Loved him in that series. Also a movie with Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe but can’t think of the name of the movie. He was a hostage in that movie and Crowe was the ransomer/handler trying to get him home to wife Ryan.

David Morse was in the Green Mile-he was awesome! He was also in “The Long Kiss Goodnight” with Geena Davis.

David Morse also ahs worked with Patricia in the past, in Sean Penn’s 1991 ‘The Indian Runner’.

Patricia fans should have spotted this right away!

I recognize this guy from something … a cop show, I think. If I wasn’t so lazy, I’d check the IMDB. … OK, I got off my rear end and checked … I scrolled through his credits-which are actually pretty diverse-and found that what I remember him from is Stephen King’s The Langoliers (A miniseries they replay on SciFi quite a bit.) Well, anyone in a King miniseries works for me-looking forward to it!

I just hope he won’t be such a downer of a charcter on Medium as he was on House. Personally, I thought he brought House down. It’s not to say I don’t like the actor – I did when he was on St. Elsewhere many years ago – some may remember this is where Denzel Washington and Howie Mandel and Ed Begley, Jr. got their big breaks. It seems his mosre recent characters are creepy/bad guys. Since the end of Season 3 and most of season 4 were quite heavy for Medium, I’m hoping for some more fun stuff in Season 5.

I love that Medium continues to attract top name guest stars like Morse, Blythe Danner, and Anjelica Huston, among the many others. It just seems to me that many people in Hollywood respect this show and its incredible cast and crew. I think that says a lot for this “little show that could”.

(What else would you call a show that’s been through the scheduling and promotional disasters that this one and has continued to thrive?;) )
