Medium Season Four DVD Contest Round Up

Patricia Arquette Signs Autographs At The NBC Experience Store

If you want a copy of the Medium season four DVD and you haven’t been able to buy one yet, (or you’re just not sure if you want to pay for a shortened season even if the lovely and talented Patricia Arquette is in it…) you may want to try your luck at one of the many contests to win a season four DVD going on around the internet right now. (I was thinking about holding one myself until I saw the number of contests already going on. Now, I need a better idea…) Here is a round up of a few of the places I’ve seen a contest, but if I missed one, please add a link for it in the comments! Most of these end soon, so be sure to check them out ASAP if you are thinking about entering to win.

Week In Rewind is giving away 5 copies of the DVD. It looks like entering requires a comment and a sign up for a feed and an email to them letting you know you are entering.

The HD Room is also offering 5 chances to win and entering looks really simple.

AndPop asks a trivia question you better be able to answer if you claim to be a Medium fan. Seriously, if you can’t get it right, there’s no hope for you! There are 5 chances to win, but only one entry per person.

RadioFree.com has a simple form for you to fill out for a chance to win one of 5 DVDs.

Movie Freak wants you to drop an email to enter to win one of five DVDs.

So, did I miss any?

I have already received mine from Amazon.com. I do have to admit, I am disappointed at having to pay the same or more as a regular full length season. I am equally disappointed in the extras.

The usual deleted scenes with or without commentary. I swear sometimes they don’t know the final cut themselves, because they will have scenes that were in the show.

The “making of Medium Season 4″ is fine, but not a whole lot there. No enjoyable backstory things like the ongoing table tennis mania of Miguel Sandoval and David Cubitt in last year’s set. Of course, David Cubitt is charming as all get out in the “making of” segment – which brings up a question about Jake Weber – he is either absent or only in one small segment of these each year which makes me wonder if he is not very cooperative.

It’s always fun to see the screw ups or the jokes the cast and crew play on each other, but overall, considering the inflated price, I was disappointed at the overall content.
