CBS, which acquired the rights to broadcast Medium, has announced that the series will debut Season 6 on September 25, 2009.
Medium will be a part of the CBS Friday Lineup, which will start at 8pm with Ghost Whisperer (perfect lead in!!), continue to Medium, then end with Numb3rs.

In the Season 6 premiere of Medium, Allison is slowly regaining both her physical abilities and her psychic talents. However, when he ‘gift’ returns as deja-vu, it’s more confusing than enlightening to Allison and to the DA. In fact, when she sets out to investigate newscaster Sophie Collen’s alleged stalker, Peter Winant, the visions are more of a hindrance than a help.

CBS is now running a network promo for all its shows and the final few cuts are of…Patricia Arquette! Seeing her makes me so happy. So cool that she and Medium have found a new home.

I am watching Medium on Hallmark. I know it’s not exactly a bed time story, but I watch it late at night when I can’t fall asleep. They air several episodes consecutively. Nice actors, they make a great couple!

I am not happy at all. What’s really going on? I can’t believe this. I was looking forward to seeing Medium on Mondays on NBC now Fridays CBS and after Ghost Whisperer (definitely not a big fan of that show at all)! That means I have to wait a whole week to see what happens next! I simply hate this change.
Doris, look at it this way, if it didn’t move to CBS, we’d have NO MEDIUM AT ALL! I’ll take it whatever night it’s on!
BTW, did you catch Medium last night on CBS at 9 CST? NCIS was on, then Big Brother (YUCK), then Medium! Too bad no one bothers to update this site.

I don’t know know who you are talking to Arieannna, but I receive automatic post updates and there haven’t been ANY new Medium Dreams posts in over 3 weeks. If one happened to FINALLY slip in today, which I’ve received no notification of, that’s still unacceptable to go more than 3 weeks without a single post.

Arieannna, Sorry, I just now received notification that there were finally new posts. I check every day, several times per day and until 5 minutes ago (after 6 PM here), there was nothing. I get a feed on my My Yahoo page.
I’m sure I am speaking for most people on this site, we are very disappointed that it’s taken this long to post for a new writer for Medium Dreams. Katelyn quit in May just before the last episode. When Sheila was leaving, there was a posting BEFORE she left for a replacement.
We know Glen Gordon Caron enjoys coming to this site, and it’s very frustrating, especially when there are news stories and things happening with the show that are not being reported here. Example: Patricia Arquette has withdrawn her divorce petition against Thomas Jane and CBS aired an episode of Medium last night at 9. I found it completely by accident when I was looking at the Tuesday schedule mapping out what I would be watching after NCIS and I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Medium on the CBS schedule! I would have posted something here yesterday on one of the posts in the hope some fans would see it, but was in the field all day and do not have access to a computer 24/7.
We definitely want to show CBS we support Medium and if GGC is lurking, want him to know we still love the show and will follow it anywhere.
It’s been rather sad this year, even before Katelyn quit, not much was being posted, which I’m sure is partly due to NBC being the butt heads they are. Open Mic nites used to have lots of posters and lurkers, and this year, few people showed up or posted even after the fact. I would really hate to see this site die!
Completely understandable, it hasn’t been an ideal transition. At first we didn’t know if we could continue the site, so we didn’t hire. Now that we have decided to have faith CBS will grow the viewers and fans, it’s just taken me time. I was already hiring for 4 sites and am pregnant, so only have so much time. I’m now looking, but it may take a few weeks if fans here don’t speak up to ask to write

Arieanna, good luck with the baby! that’s an exciting time. I hope someone does step forward to write this blog. I would love to, but don’t have a computer at home or a lap top. I do think CBS will be a lot more forthcoming with information – at least I hope so.
Just watched last season repeats as a follow up to CBS Sept 25th 2009…….Come on Friday !!!!!!
