We want to see this man in a Santa hat!!
Hey NBC! Sit up and take notice. Medium fans want a Christmas special, too. Come on. You did it for Monk. You did it for Psych. They’re coming back with a new season at the same time Medium is. Please give us a Christmas special next year. Pllleeeaaassseee???
Should Medium Take a Page Out of the USA Handbook and Have a Yearly Christmas Special?
- Oh, yes! I’d drop everything to watch it.
- I don’t know. I’ll watch anything Medium, but I think Christmas specials are cheesy.
- I’m grinching away this year and I won’t give up my “Bah! Humbug!” mood for anything, even Medium.

I really liked Medium the first couple of years but it’s gotten too much into serial killer stuff. Plus, it’s really hard to know when and where it will be on. I really do like the whole family thing on the show. My Mom watches too. She heard they were going to let the actor who plays the husband go. That would be a huge loss on the show. Ghost Whisperer just killed off the husband this season. I think it was a stupid thing to do. It was great having a fairly normal, yet happy, couple to watch each week. They just couldn’t leave a good thing alone.
Laura,
Wow, I hope not. Medium needs Joe as much as it needs Allison.
Nah, they won’t get rid of Joe. That was a rumor that Michael Ausiello started last year (he also reported that there was widespread chaos and tension on the Medium set) that turned out to be completely untrue.
They will never get rid of Joe, because he is as much a part of the backbone of the show as Allison is. The marriage of these two people is what keeps so many people tuning in to watch the show (no matter when or where NBC finally puts it on the schedule). The producers know this and they won’t mess with that too much. They make tinker with them a little bit, but they won’t do anything drastic like kill off a major character (especially Joe) because they know that would literally be the end of the show.
