Here are several new Melrose Place promo clips from AT&T All Access highlighting some of the characters – including Sydney (Laura Leighton), Violet (Ashlee Simpson-Wentz), Jonah (Michael Rady) and Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen).
Melrose Place will make its debut on The CW at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Tuesday, September 8.
I’m really curious about Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s character Violet. Not only does she having a strange connection with Sydney of some sort, she really likes Auggie (Colin Egglesfield) to the point of obsession. I wonder how they are going to play that storyline out. She seems to be a very naive young girl, so I wonder how long it takes for Melrose Place to get into her blood.
My favorite character from what I’ve seen of Melrose Place clips is Ella, played by Katie Cassidy. She seems to be the “bitch” of the show much like Heather Locklear was on the original show. But it seems she has a soft spot for Jonah, who is madly in love with Riley, played by Jessica Lucas.
This last preview is a good overview of some of the scandalous plots we have to look forward to on Melrose Place, followed by a look at the CW’s new model drama The Beautiful Life.
