Michael Jackson on the cover of Ebony – this confuses me.

The very well-respected magazine Ebony is, in it’s own words, a “forum to explore the impact of the world on African Americans and the impact of African Americans on the world.” So why the hell is Michael Jackson showing up on the cover? Don’t creepy alien pedophiles get their OWN magazine?

MJ is on the cover because musically he is one of the best r&b artist of all time. R&b is black music. MJ is actually more r&b then pop. Off the wall and Thriller are mostly Urban r&b albums

I find it quite ironic to say the least, that MJ is on the cover of a Black magazine and he is White as Gwyneth Paltrow. Is this an inside joke?
