I feel for Lindsay Lohan – both of her parents seem more concerned with themselves than their children. You would almost expect this kind of childish behavior from divorced parents of toddlers (like Britney Spears and Kevin Federline) but Lindsay is an adult and they are still acting like they’re in the middle of a custody battle for a small child!
The Insider is reporting the following:
Lindsay Lohan remains at the Cirque Lodge in Sundance, UT getting treatment, and her father has good news about how things are going with the ‘Georgia Rule’ star.
“I can’t even say how great it’s been,” MICHAEL LOHAN tells “The Insider.”
Michael says he’s packing right now to spend five days with Lindsay in Utah as outpatient therapy, and they plan to talk about what she’s going to do next with her life.
But tensions reportedly remain high as Michael Lohan’s ex, DINA LOHAN, is said to be unhappy over Lindsay’s rekindled relationship with her dad.
“Dina, though, is painting this pretty picture for the media [that she's happy about Lindsay's relationship with me],” claims Michael, “but what she’s doing and saying behind the scenes is a totally different thing.”

friend in sobriety…i am a little over nine years sober,and,yes,it is still a struggle all these years later.i was referring to the ninety day milestone as an important factor in her decision to finally get serious about help and sobriety,and in my own experience,once i got to 90 days,it did get a little easier,in that i could trust myself not to get all crazy around temptations,as i now had a period of clarity to reference,where i liked myself again,and could breathe the fresh air of clear-headed thinking.while i still struggle,i don’t EVER want to go back to that freak that i was,and that insane existence,if you could call being a slave to alcohol and drugs,existing.wishing my favorite movie star and fellow flawed human being,the hugely talented,absolutely beautiful,and incomparable miss Lindsay Lohan,the best of health,happiness,and clarity of mind and purpose,one day at a time.love you,Lindsay.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace

I’m happy that your life was feeling more in control at 90 days. Even some years later it is still difficult for me. As a performer, and not even in the same galaxy as Ms Lohan I cannot fathom the stress that living one day at a time brings. I’m just now feeling like I have some sense of creativity, and as I said it’s some years down the road. I hope she takes all the time she needs, not one day more or less.
i just saw a bunch of photos of Lindsay picking pumpkins,getting picked up by her dad for a trip out of rehab,and some other pics of her looking great and it really looks like she is getting along with her sobriety and a new lease on life.btw,she is now 70 days sober,just 19 away from that all-important milestone of 90 days,as in self-trust and confidence.i know,because when i finally got to ninety,i felt like i had turned the corner,was in control of my demons,at least from a day to day workable standpoint.well done,miss Lohan,in coming this far,may you continue on the path,and staying with the program,it does work.hopefully,we will see you on the ‘dare to love me’ movie set,and a return to the recording studio.love you,Lindsay.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace
deep background…well said,she must get back to doing what endeared her to millions of fans,acting,singing,and modeling-the Lindsay we all know and love,and work would be a great way for some cathartic release.wishing my favorite movie star and one of my favorite singers,the singularly unique,absolutely beautiful,and incomparable miss Lindsay Lohan,the best of health,happiness,and a soon return to the movie set.i still ‘dare to love’ this highly talented young lady,and love always,from a huge fan and friend.peace
This is why I’m for bringing this rehab phase of her live to an end except in so far as she has to obey court orders. She needs to start trusting her self rather than other people. She has something that should help her discipline herself. If she screws up now she goes to jail or is in serious risk of it. I think work would be therapeutic for her at this time. Make that third album, make those two movies, and leave the fun for when the “man” is off her back about three years hence.
