Michael Lohan's Christian Values Network

Michael Lohan has confirmed that he has been working with Stephen Baldwin on a project called "The Christian Values Network," which gives back to churches and charities and will be an online-version of the Home Shopping Network.

When you purchase your Everyday and Christian products through CVN, CVN will give approximately 3% – 7% of every purchase you make to your church or ministry. This means CVN will be giving 50% of its net revenue to your church or ministry.

Shopping partners include mega brands from Adidas and Apple to Dell to Walmart. The site does not yet feature Michael, but I’m guessing that the Lohan and Baldwin names will somehow be put behind some sort of promotion campaign.

    – an interesting and enterprising approach — looks like there are some good ministries in the list. It seems to ride on a secular consumerist mentality — I have mixed feelings about “leveraging incidental giving” vs. sacrificial giving. On the one hand, if you’re going to buy stuff it will help that some money gets funneled into these ministries; on the other hand — if you sent the money without buying the stuff, you would be able to send more than twicw as much …

However, this does not appear to be such a bad thing considering we live in a fallen world — I believe God can use it — at least it’s not one of those charlatan things that sell you “miracle water” and “miracle rags” — JESUS!!!!

(… offered as a prayer for deliverance — not as an expletive — c’mon you guys! ;-)

  11. What is really going on…

The irony is that Christian Values Network was started by a couple of men of the Jewish faith from New York… its a play on your religious leanings to bilk you under the guise of charity.
