I thought this was a nice story. Michelle Williams is planning on making a remembrance movie of sorts for daughter Matilda, with different actors, etc. giving their memories of Heath to the camera. Here’s more:
“It makes Michelle’s heart ache that Matilda was so young when Heath died and she’s unlikely to retain any memories of her father,” a source told Australian Daily Telegraph. “She wants to keep his spirit alive with something Matilda can treasure all her life.”
Personally I would think it would be more meaningful to have something purely from family rather than from a whole bunch of actors who probably didn’t know him that well, but that’s just me.

@Anastasia – You know, I appreciate your opinion and all, but was it really necessary to call me ignorant and half a brain? For shame. I was merely expressing my OWN opinion on my OWN blog, there’s no need for you to get offensive.
Wendy,
I personally think you are very ignorant in your belief that it would be more meaningful to have the movie made by family only, rather than “a whole bunch of actors who probably didn’t know him that well.” First of all, I doubt you knew Heath, or know any of the actors who knew him. He had many close actor friends who were completely devastated by his death. He spent a great deal of time with these actors on the sets of movies, and off set as well. He was closer with many of them than he was with members of is own family. Actors are people too and they form meaningful and lifelong friendships with other actors who they spend an enormous amount of time working and growing with. Actors will also be able to describe Heath’s talent and energy in a way family members probably could not for obvious reasons, they will make Matilda proud of the amazingly talented father she had. Also, if you had half of a brain, you would realize that Matilda will obviously have her family members nearby to tell her wonderful stories of Heath and the great man he was off camera as well. Matilda however, will most likely not have the opportunity to hear from other actors describe Heath’s talent in a collective tribute, which is why it is so important for Michelle to create this movie tribute for their daughter.
You will be greatly missed by us Heath, forever and always.
