Mike Comrie Talks About Meeting Hilary Duff For the First Time

On Saturday, Hilary’s boyfriend, Mike Comrie gave an interview on Hockey Night in Canada, after playing a game with his new team, the Edmonton Oilers. Mike was asked to give some details about his relationship with Hilary and how they met.

Discussing where the two first got to know each other he explained, “We actually were on a trip. There was a bunch of groups. A resort in Idaho flew us out. We were all on the same plane and it was kind of, I guess maybe a bit of a fluke –she calls it ironic. No I’m kidding! It’s one of those things where we were all in a group and there for the weekend at a resort. There was golf and water skiing, white water rafting. It was kind of a getaway.”

He continued, “We spent the weekend all hanging out and it was about mid-summer and we’ve been dating for a couple years now.”

He was also asked about how feels about the paparazzi being all up in their business. He admits, “That’s not so bad when you’re out at an event. It’s just a little challenging when you leave your house and there’s five to ten people waiting just to follow you around all day long. Nice to get a little bit of insight into their relationship! I think it’s good for celebs to keep their relationships on the private side, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy hearing about it!
