So has anyone gone to see the Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds 3D Movie yet?!? I just got back and wanted to share some of my thoughts & mini-spoilers. Don’t read if you don’t want to be spoiled :)
Backstage Scenes:
There were some cute backstage scenes, including the following.
- Concert rehearsals and prep. We got to watch Miley, her band, and her dancers practice. We also caught producer Kenny Ortega [also from High School Musical] doing some dance moves and teaching Miley to kick up her microphone stand!
- They showed a ton of the fans singing songs and screaming at the concerts. Boy can they scream…
- A radio station held a fan contest and we got to see the dads running in high heels!
- We actually saw a good amount of Miley’s mom. She helps out with the wardrobe changes.
- We saw the guys practicing for the lift during I’ve Got Nerve. They practiced a lot after a fall in Utah and Miley was pretty nervous! I don’t blame her.
Jonas Brothers:
We got to see two of the Jonas Brothers’ songs – Year 3000 and When You Look Me in the Eyes. I thought Nick was the best out of any of them. But I also caught a glimpse of Joe Jonas wearing a band on his wedding finger. What’s with that?!?! And Miley seemed obsessed with rumpling Joe’s hair when they were all singing together.
Random Thoughts…
- Miley was barefoot during two of the songs. Kind of cute to see!
- She seems very natural. She also seemed to genuinely enjoy being on stage and was often caught winking and waving to the fans.
- I was expecting to see a lot of lip-syncing but if she did, it was hard to catch!
- I definitely like Miley better as … well, Miley! I was actually kind of surprised to see that it was her hair, and how perfect it looked even after being up in the Hannah Montana wig for the first part of the set.
And Miley, I hate to say this… but you should ditch Nick and go for the cute dancers! The male dancers were HOT. Especially the guy she dances to at the front of the catwalk during Let’s Dance, after she and the rest of the singers do their Dirty-Dancing-Like sashay down the stage.

Uhmmm… joe jonas doesnt wear a wedding band there purity rings and they all wear them. And secondly Miley lipsynchs practically every song except when she randomly starts screaming a random part of the song.

I don’t know. The voice was not as strong as the backgrounds. Sounded like a concert to me. At least you could still make it out!

Steven, I agree… if her band wasn’t there I would have actually been underwhelmed with her voice. I don’t know if they needed to turn on the mic or if she needed some power behind it. Luckily it’s Miley and she has a great personality!

i heard it wasnt that great but im still gonna see it =) like her music and the jonas brothers but the real miley isnt like OMG to me now i havent seen this but my friend told me about it go on youtube or google videos and type in 10 reasons to hate miley cyrus
