Miley Cyrus tells TV Guide that it was crazy when Hannah Montana made it big. The show’s first soundtrack (Hannah Montana) was the first TV soundtrack ever to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
“It was insane,” Miley recalls. “All of a sudden I woke up one day and went to Macy’s and saw myself on a T-shirt.”
She adds, “I feel empowered when I see my face on a T-shirt. A girl wouldn’t be wearing a shirt with me on it just because she liked my show. She must look up to me.”
