Miley Cyrus' International Book Deal with Disney Book Group

miley-cyrus-pictures-02.jpgWe heard rumors about a Miley Cyrus book deal and it has turned out to be true!

Disney Book Group has acquired world rights to the first ever Miley Cyrus book.

Miley will share her inspiring story, spanning from her Southern roots in Tennessee to the excitement of her record-setting triumphs in TV, music and film. Notably, Miley will reveal how her solid relationship with her family, especially her mother Leticia, helps her navigate the spotlight and encourages her to contribute and connect to the world in a variety of ways and grow up happy and well-rounded.

The book will feature never before seen photos, family stories, a look at her inner circle of family and friends and more. It will be published in early spring of 2009.

Jeanne Mosure, of the Disney Book Group, made the announcement today.

I am so excited to let fans in on how important my relationship with my family is to me,” said Miley Cyrus. “I hope to motivate mothers and daughters to build lifetimes of memories together, and inspire kids around the world to live their dreams.

Miley is a genuine international sensation and we are delighted to deliver her first book to families around the world,” said Mosure. “She is a terrific role model, and we are incredibly proud to give kids everywhere the opportunity to connect with her in an entirely new way.”

So, what do you think about a Miley Cyrus book? Will you buy it when it hits the shelves?

    A Miley Cyrus Book?

OMG! She has only been alive 15 years. What could she possibly have to say? I am going to, for once, disagree with Disney on this. This book is taking “Miley Mania” way overboard

Personally, I am getting a little tired of Miley. It is time for a new Disney ‘it’ girl.

Unfortunetely I think most people are getting a little tired of Miley. There is a point where you can go over board. It’ll be interesting to see how this book does.

  6. [...] Cyrus isn’t the only one who is getting a book deal with Disney Book Group. Now it’s the Jonas Brothers [...]
