Watch this very revealing interview of Miley Cyrus with GMA’s Robin this morning. A succinct preview : Miley talked about how her “Breakout” album is her way of stepping out of Hannah Montana persona. This is all hers, no wigs whatsoever. She also discussed her stage fright before every performances where she got from her Mom, the Vanity Fair pictures aftermath, her animated movie, Bolt with John Travolta, her ways to just relax and be Miley and the Hannah Montana movie.
My thoughts after the fold….
She said “yah know” quite a few times. But she’s 15 yrs old, what can you expect? I was glad that the word “role model” wasn’t really brought up. Although, she made a good point when she said she can relate when her fans write her aletters about making mistakes. She can kinda get in their shoes and help them get through it since been shoveled with her own problems as well. And that in my opinion should be the basis of being a “role model”. Someone who can make mistakes, learn from it and hopefully young people will learn something as well. Now if we base being a role model into someone who’s supposed to be perfect (it doesn’t exist) and is always doing what the “society” dictates as the perfect life of a Teen then by all means, don’t let Pop Stars be your children’s role model. You shouldn’t anyway.
Anyhooooooo, All Miley wants to do is plan a vacation coz the last time she and her family went was when she was 8 in Florida and they fought the whole way through. Things have changed. They all get along now so any vacation they take will be much better.
