In 2009, Miley Cyrus quit Twitter — prompted by then-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth — claiming that it interfered too much with her private life. Now, the pop star is back on the social networking site, though we’re unsure if it’s simply to hype her next tour.
You can find Miley tweeting under @gypsyhearttour, a reference to her Gypsy Heart world tour, which kicks off in Quito, Ecuador, on April 29. She’s already racked up over 100,000 followers (see her celebrating with what has become her new accessory, the fake-stache, at right) since the account went live on March 29.
However, this may not last. One of the first @gypsyhearttour tweets reads, Follow us for special updates from the tour’s Creative Director, Miley’s Band & Dancers, and some special guest tweets from MILEY! So when the tour concludes, we may not have any more special Miley messages to enjoy.
Oh, and you know who she’s a big fan of? Charlie Sheen.
