Miley Cyrus Says She is Not Trying to Get Fired

Rumors have been circulating for quite some time about Miley Cyrus’ relationship with Disney. First it was that she was being fired and now it’s that she is trying to get fired. Which is it? Supposedly neither.

Miley recently spoke to People and said that the rumors of her showing up late and fighting with co-star Emily Osment just aren’t true. She says, ‘I am fully committed to Hannah Montana. It’s what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people. I couldn’t do it alone. We have an amazing cast that is so supportive, including my dad who has been there for me every step of the way.’

A Disney rep stepped in and offered these words as support: ‘On set they’re like a big family. Emily and Miley are like sisters. Occasionally they have disagreements but they make up and they never let it effect their work.’

I have a feeling this is the last season of HM and that they will possibly try to do a spin-off show of some sort.
