Troubled country singer Mindy McCready was checked into a hospital this morning after another failed suicide attempt. She had been checked into rehab this past July after a failed attempt following a miscarriage, and served jail time in September on drug related charges.
A police spokesperson said that Mindy is being treated for wounds to her wrists:
“We responded to a ‘10-63,’ that’s a suicidal person call. Mindy McCready was at the house. Apparently she called the mother of her roommate and said some things that caused the mother concern. She called authorities. We responded with paramedics, who took her to a local hospital.”
Hopefully she’ll get the treatment she desperately needs soon.
