Mischa Barton checks in from India

mischa-online-logo.jpgMischa Barton, who is currently filming the movie Bhopal: The Prayer for Rain in Hyperbad, India, has posted on her official website a little update about her experiences there.

Mischa says India is amazing, even though the shoots are long, and has enjoyed her spiritual exploration in India:

“I’ve been having an amazing spiritual exploration visiting Hindu temples and learning about Buddhism, both beautiful religions. Hyderabad where we’re filming is a real inspiration in the fact that Christians, Muslims and Hindus all get along so harmoniously. I must admit I used to make fun of people who were all into yoga and chai tea thinking it was another ridiculous health fad. But now I’m that person! First of all Masala Chai tea, the traditional way with milk and sugar is delicious, and this is coming from a brit who only likes my breakfast tea!”

Mischa said it was her goal to learn to play the sitar while she was in India, but is finding out it’s not that easy to find a good sitar teacher.

Mischa also discussed her Christmas break, where she went to South Goa for parasailing, jet skiing and swimming in the ocean. She hopes to upload footage of her trip in the future. We hope she does so we can share it with you!
