Mischa Barton says tabloid claims that she is dating Jon Sadoff from the band thenewno2 are not true, according to her new official website, which was created right before Thanksgiving.
Mischa sets the record straight by saying she met Jon a few months ago, and while they share similar music tastes, they are just friends. Fighting claims of the two holding hands at a T-Mobile G1 event, Mischa says it was done only to lead each other through the crowd or while dancing.
Mischa on tabloid rumors:
"It’s so funny to me the conclusions that are often drawn from the most insignificant of details! People need to stop reading so far into things."
Mischa is the second celebrity I know of that has went to go on record this week to dispel tabloid rumors. Patrick Swayze announced to People recently that he’s tired of rumors that he is sicker than he actually is.
