Mischa Barton has been given the opportunity to be a guest star on the CW’s Gossip Girl. Right now, it’s not clear if Mischa will accept or reject the offer.
Mischa is being offered the recurring role of Georgina Sparks:
Georgina Sparks, a scheme queen who brings Serena’s checkered past screaming into her present — although it’s looking more unlikely with each passing hour. Shortly after we posted this story, Barton’s reps told US Weekly that she turned down the gig. My sources, however, have yet to confirm that.
The mere fact that Barton was even considered for the role suggests that if ever there was an ax to grind between Gossip monger Josh Schwartz, who killed Barton off of The O.C., and the starlet, that hatchet was buried along with the nubile body of Marissa Cooper.
Yes, no? Should Mischa take the part, or is it too much like The OC? Should Mischa just be in movies for now?

OMG THAT WOULG HAVE BEEN AMAZING IF MISCHA PLAYED GEORGIE!!! Georgie was a crazy character in the book. Mischa may have turned it down because she might have not seen herself playing that type of character. Georgie was a girl who dated nate and he met her in rehab!!!
