Could Mischa Barton’s hospitalization right before the premiere of her new thriller Homecoming help the movie? Barton was hospitalized on Wednesday, the same day she was scheduled to fly to New York City for the movie premiere.
With a limited release of the new Morgan J. Freeman indie movie Homecoming to open in only Los Angeles, New York and Louisville, Kentucky today, I think it’s possible that the flurry of media reports about her hospitalization could make more people flock to the indie movie. If you didn’t hear of the Homecoming movie before this week, it’s possible all the rumors and gossip will help make people more aware of the movie in general.
The Homecoming movie will be released on July 24 in Denver, Colorado and in Madison, Wisconsin on Aug. 14. With more media attention on the movie, maybe more cities will be added on some of these later dates.
