I was at the concert and i was sitting backstage watching her. I did not hear any boos all i heard was cheers. There might have been some very drunk guys booing her but I did not here any boos and she did a great job at her first country music concert

Ritovskyta: Thanks for the analysis! I never looked at it that way, but I can see your point. I think I do have a softer side for Ashlee. I feel for her having to be in Jess’s shadow.

I am also a fan of Jessica’s too. I think she’s so talented, so when she does something that takes away from her talent, it makes me wonder why!

In many ways, I think it was a bad idea that she debut in Wisconsin. I’m from the area, and I know that first of all, people don’t understand a gal that would go to Cabo with her Pro Football boyfriend during a bye week. (People would have preferred that she wait until after the playoffs).

Also, with the Carrie Underwood thing, I think the timing was bad. Jessica loves to talk about being from Texas and dating Tony, and those are two things that fans in Wisconsin aren’t going to want to hear. So I blame Papa Joe for not preparing her. I feel for her, because it’s obvious she’s very nervous at being on stage and if Papa Joe had given her better prep, she might not have received the bad reactions at first.

I never thought of “With You” as country, but I can see your point that she could make it that way just by changing the way she sang it.

I think I have ggotten to understand you now. You like both sisters, but lloks like you have a softer side for ash. It’s ok. I like them both also, but my heart goes to Jess. And I act towards ash like you do with Jess. I love ( ash) to death, but she kind of annoys me and acts in ways it sometimes it’s hard for me to understand , therefore I tend to commment on her in a more imparcial side, sometimes even kind of hard, ’cause I want her to do good, but because I am not as ” in love” with her as I am with Jess I can see where the flaws ( in my opinion, of course) lay….

Anyhow, she DID chat a lot. And it was a festival with many other singers. They knew all the other singers. They didn’t knew Jess and neither of her country song. It’s not like they can sing along….

Anyway, I always look at ” with you” as a country song at heart. And I guess that’s how she always wanted to sing it. Like christina aguilera which completly remakes her pop songs from her first cd into whathever beat she’s in at the time, so can Jess turn country a lot of her old songs…

I tought it was very brave of her to stand up in that stage, 3 years after her own concert and face an audience se KNEW was gonna be reluctant to support her. And booed or not, she stood in that stage, did her thing, sang live and was not thrown out of it! =p
