More on Washington vs. Dempsey

So, after a little more digging, I found that E! Online had more on the Dempsey/Washington argument:

It seems that Washington was prepared to shoot a particular scene Monday and was peeved that his fellow cast mates weren’t ready to go. He ended up making a nasty remark to T.R. Knight and Dempsey stepped in on Knight’s behalf.

According to the New York Daily News, Washington then grabbed Dempsey by his McDreamy throat and shoved him. Washington told People Wednesday that no punches were thrown.

If this is true, I guess things did get a little physical. But according to all sources, the couple has kissed and made up since. Thankfully, our beautiful show continues unmarred.

Anyone choking someone or getting physical is totally unacceptable with me. Now I will look at Mr. Washington in a totally different way, and frankly I beleve that anyone who conducts himself in this manner (on the job or anywhere), should be excused from his job. People in the REAL WORLD who work at jobs cannot do that so why should he. Setting examples should be a part of being considered a T.V. STAR. Really disappointed.

The way I see it is that people sometimes get frustrated, especially when things aren’t going according to the schedule. The entertainment world is so different than a 9-5 job. The majority of us don’t have to work 14-16 hrs. a day. I don’t see IW any differently at all. If the disagreement was between IW and the guy that plays George, then that’s where it should have stayed, between then. If anyone were to intervene, it should have been Shonda, another producer, or a director. Anyone who sees IW differently wasn’t a fan of his to begin with, so what they think of him doesn’t even matter.

I still love Isaiah Washington, he’s up there with Denzel in my eyes…no one really knows what happens and the media and even people who were actually in attendance can get facts wrong..i’ll chalk it up as him having a bad day b/c most of us, if we could, would do the same…but…on the other hand, we do have to contain ourselves, i still love the talented Dr. Burke…he still has my vote!!!!!

  5. Grey’s Anatomy News – Restraining Order on I. Washington?

[...] So, the whole Washington/Dempsey brawl is still picking up media attention, as is only natural of such an occurrence. Now someone has stepped up to say that Isaiah Washington is a “real nasty guy.” [...]
