More pictures of Katie Holmes new haircut. I agree that this is a more feminine cut on her. I really like this new look! Maybe it’s the full bangs that makes it look so cute. I have read several places that call this new look on Katie as stunning. I would have to agree.

She looks better with long hair, I hope she grows it out again. Short hair looks okay on her, but her long curls were cute and sexy.
I love it!!! The bangs do make it feminine and chic, while the back is short. It’s funny. This looks like a street-side runway photo shoot. I wonder if all the girls will now go out and copycat this new haircut.
Now, here’s the real question. Where can Katie possibly go from here? LOL. She is a haircut trend-setter, but she can’t go much shorter this time! Anyhow, this is my favorite short-cut yet on her. It looks more like she owned this one and like she really chose it for herself. I guess anytime a woman does something this bold, it flies in the face of typical Hollywood “what men want” sexiness. You go girl!
All that being said…I’d LOVE this outfit if the dang jeans weren’t folded at the bottom!!! Even the flats are cute with the necktie, but it needs relaxed jeans, maybe with a slight flair…just to look “carefree”. The whole buttoned top, tied neck is cute and “done up”. But it needs pairing with a relaxed jean to look balanced. Wearing it all together is like wearing red lipstick and a smoky ear. Either one or the other, honey!
Now, the pegged jean with some old-time Keds and a frumpy, wide-mouth sweatshirt would look really cute. But too much in one outfit, Katie!

Love the look. Don’t think she got much hair cut tho. She tucks it behind her ear normally. What is up with these shirts that stay tucked in??? Is it like one of those snapping shirts?? from hmm back in the 70’s was when I wore them so my shirt would stay tucked into my bellbottom jeans. LOL
I’m not liking the jeans, period. The bottoms look messy and low waisted jeans are made for a flat stomach. I do like the scarf and the sweater. Looks like she got a little done up for the camera today. Notice, she walks around the car instead of dashing out the passenger side and into the building.
I’m not too much a fan of the short hair usually, but this one is pretty cute!
I noticed the back was a bit like Dennis the menace – could have a tendancy to stick up it a bit, but all in all, I like it! i agree with Julie, it’s dfinitely the bangs that set it off so nicely.

The jeans would look great without pegging them….that just looks awful….the outfit is adorable but it doesnt make sense to peg them…….the hair………oh, my……..how much shorter can she go??????? Ithink its just tucked behind her ears, similar to the tank top photo. never thought i’d say this about short hair on Katie, but this is cute + , the long fringe in the front is really what sets it off, i really can’t believe i’m saying this , it’s gorgeous and so is she, the girl has lovely lips, look at her,give the jeans a miss , but she sure likes them

Oh my, I was actually starting to miss her long hair but this haircut (not sure if its a new haircut or just the way she styled it) looks nice on her. I love what she is wearing too. She looks stunning!
I agree it is a new hair cut after seeing it on another site. It is shorter but surprsingly more feminine. i like the look generally, still not sure about the jeans, they are interesting though. I love the scarf thing going on. Boy i would trip having people snap away at me like that all the time.
Tyler, maybe that side of the car has a child car seat for Suri. I doubt she uses the same side all the time to give the paps more pictures, it certainly does not look contrived.
Well, I will say again that I think Katie looks fantastic here. I love the whole look…even the rolled up jeans. It just seems to suit her and her personality to try something like that. I’m not saying I would wear the pegged jeans again (already did that in highschool) but I think it looks good on her. I really like the scarf and the hair is really cute. I don’t know if we can compare Katie cutting her hair again to Britney Spear’s well-publicized meltdown. I think continuing to fine-tune your look is a far cry from running over paps and having screaming matches with fans and locking yourself in a bathroom with your child and then having your head shaved bald on a whim. Perhaps Katie is just trying to find the right look for right now. I personally admire women who are brave enough to change up their look and go for something new instead of keeping the same hair style, length and cut for years.

You’re welcome, Hana. I think it is nice to see them at a playground too. I understand why they don’t but I wish they did things like this more often….it is such a good thing for a child to do. Especially spending special time with Mom.
There’s a new sighting of Suri & Katie at Dlisted.com. Suri has all grown up to be a beautiful little girl but is still on bottle. First time seeing her playing in the park with Katie.
Thanks guys for the tips. Can’t disgree that they are such a beautiful mother and child duo. Suri is so big and is gonna be as tall as her mum. She also has a very strong personality, you can see her arguing with her mother in a couple of pictures. Seemed like a fun evening.
Lilianne, I was reading your post and I couldn’t help admiring you when you were responding to the comparison between Britney and Katie. I thought it was in bad taste and could not even respond to it. It was seeking attention so I ignored it. How can one compare the two. But that is not the point, the point is that reading your answer made me go ‘wow she is good!’. You were so patient and diplomatic. I would probably have gone off the handle like I usually when someone is unfair to tom and katie. Not you, you have my admiration, I should learn a thing or two. LOL.

tyler, when did I say that women who keep the same style for years aren’t brave? I only said that I personally admire women who are brave enough to change their hairstyle. It would be foolish of me to say that women who keep the same style are not brave because it would be untrue. There is, of course, something to be said for those women who do keep the same style for years and years and I suppose you could call that self-confidence. I’m not sure if that is what I would say about it but it is certainly plausible. It is all a matter of opinion and down to the fact that beauty, in any form, is relative to the person doing the looking.
I too wanted Katie to experiment with her hair, when she cut it, I thought she would leave it in one style like Posh, I am actually impressed with the things she comes up with to keep it interesting. Long hair can be boring. i am a coward, so I keep mine long. The thought of not being able to pull it back when I am not upto styling scares me. I cut it long ago, but it was such hard work. May be i will try it some time.
I know I’m probably in the minority here, but I like the whole look — even the jeans, because I’m a fan of “boyfriend” jeans — and I like her haircut. And I’m one of those who thinks she has looked mostly terrible since hooking up with Tom.
Nice to see her looking happy and comfortable for a change.

And to whomever said something about a car seat, Suri doesn’t use a car seat while in NYC. There have been MANY pictures of her sitting on her someone’s lap while traveling.
Anyways, I don’t think it’s a law in NYC. Otherwise taxi cabs would have to have them or even require them.
there is a bunch pf pics at dlisted of katie…..and I think she looks awful…….how can she sometimes look so adorable an dthen days later just horrible? at least the jeans are not pegged……..but she looks sooo anorexic..the other day she looked healthier….it must be the choice of clothing b/c she looks so hin and you can see a shot of her from the behind and she has no bum!! she looks so thin and her hair is toght to the scalp, like a man’s….the other day I thought sh elooked great and just 48 hrs. later she looks as if she lost 5 lbs!!
I do not care if it is a law or not the kid needs to be in a car seat, not in someone’s lap. Suri is two years old it is about time she loses the bottle. The problems they will have with her teeth. Be smart and get rid of the bottle NOW!!!!! It is not cute anymore.
I think to be honest, you can’t look stunning every single day, its impossible, paticularly when you’re just going to rehearsals and you need to be comfortable. I saw those pictures Jenna was talking about ,the jeans looked 3 sizes too big , and she din’nt have her hair behind her ears like yesterday, its amazing the difference hair and clothes make from day to day on Katie. I went back and had a look at Katies different looks ,and i miss the longer look

LMAO!! Have to agree Jennifer. Those jeans must be able to stand on their own by now – she’s been wearing them so often. Not one of Katie’s best looks. I’m surprised at her. Before these past 2 weeks she’s been so well dressed!
Suri is still on the bottle and diapers, she’s not a baby any more. When are they going to let their little darlin grow up??
