I was tipped (thanks D O) to this scathing review of a fictional account of how life might be if Daryl D actually knew or had knowledge of Angelina Jolie. This person made up a situation, based only on what he/she has read in the tabs over the last few months and in the New York Times silly ‘fall from grace’ article last week. You can read the stupidity here if you want, but I’ll rebut below and I invite you to do the same here.
As Angelina Jolie prepares for her next visit to a third world orphanage, she receives a call from her philanthropy publicist, who says that her digital photographer has just quit. “But I need someone to take pictures of me caring for the kids!” Jolie screams.
Jolie has never needed to hire a photog as they follow her constantly. Were she to need one, she’d only have to ask the bodyguards she travels with to step aside and she’d be trampled with paparazzi.
I have a six megapixel digital camera. I can take pictures of you holding one of the kids.
Again, hardly think the uber-rich woman would be begging for a 6 megapixel camera. My husband has a 10.2 megapixel camera, so she’d likely either have a nicer one or would at least be looking for one that is a step up from a 6. It’s just not a believable exchange. And since when did it become ok to make up racist comments, or are bloggers above normal ‘journalistic’ principles?
She then decides that Brad needs a moment of pleasure before they begin their journey. “I bet Jennifer could never do that!” she says in a whispery voice. Brad nods his head in agreement.
Where does this come from? It’s this baseless hatred that really shows the author just speaks from tabloid knowledge. Moron…
Worst of all, many parents hopeful of adopting a child from Cambodia had their hearts broken when the government banned all adoptions because of Angelina Jolie’s illegal activities.
A real journalist would know that all authorities have said Angie did nothing wrong. The ban did happen shortly after the adoption of Maddox, but the adoption ban was healthy for children and families of Cambodia and I’m sure Angie is very glad that the corrupt system was stopped. She used what she thought was a legitimate agency based here in the US and she was mislead. I mean, I know it’s fun to throw around insults, but by placing blame on a twenty-something person who had no adoption knowledge at the time, you show yourself to be 1-hardhearted 2-stupid and 3-a careless reporter, at best, an ‘anything for a story’ one, at the worst.

The reporter who was asking her questions said blob, Angie just agreed that the personality wasn’t there until about 6 months old. Clearly this person is not a parent if he/she can’t remember wondering how subsequent children would fit into the family in the early days of their life. I remember fearing I wouldn’t love my infants as much as my older kids, and I really didn’t feel that close-knit bond, until around 6 months old. How mean to make a mom feel less of one just to get a few stupid ad clicks.
Angelina’s other fake philanthropy efforts, such as being a U.N. Ambassador, are going to make people hate her even worse.
There’s not a fake bone in Angie’s body. That’s why she ends up putting her foot in her mouth so much. And, that woman has touched so many lives in her work, much more than this silly writer I assume, that sour grapes sours the writing from the outset. I can understand lusting after Pitt, who of us haven’t, but to construct a hatred so fierce that it consumes you, just to live out the fantasy that you matter, is just plain cruel.
I’m ashamed to see this sloppy journalism by a fellow blogger. No wonder we get no respect, there are many it seems that don’t deserve it.
I have one question for all the Brangelina fans. how is it that, if it is not something written that Brad and Angelina so freakin happy, it is a lie. Sweet hearts, this is life not heaven, and no one is perfect. That is almost insane to believe that anyone on earth walks on water. They are human. This is what is puzzling Brad and Angelina right now, they can not understand how anyone can not believe every single word that come out of their mouth. This is exactly why, the both of them have such poor boundaries, no one ever said NO, to them. jmo

though Robyn may not be a “real” journalist (I don’t think she ever claimed that she was, she called herself a blogger!), she does post dissent….so, stop trashing her. She’s blogging for the fans, and she does not deserve your disrespect.
I for one, being the mother of two preteens, am surely relieved that Robyn does moderate the way she does. Thanks!
Laura, I moderate comments because the vast majority of those on this blog are for porn, penis patches and other celeb blogs. Sometimes it does take me a day (or even two) to unmoderate the real comments, but if it is longer than a day then it got caught in my spam folder and I can’t help that.
This blog gets more than 1K blog comments per day, and I have to weed through each of them because I don’t want to accidentally delete one that is really a comment from a fan.
Go back to your job at blog critics and quit being a fart head.
My condolence to Angie and her family. This is so sad. It must be very difficult for Angie and her bro James for they are ver close to their mother, especially Angie. R.I.P Marcheline.

I’ve just read that Angie’s mom died yesterday. Angie, her brother and Brad were there. This is very, very sad, the lady battled that awfull disease for so long. Let’s all send our good thoughts to BAMZS
I just read that stupid piece of yellow journalism and also read the NY times article. Then I went on youtube to watch the ‘Cereal’ comment. Wow!! These ppl are really capable of making a mountain out of a molehill. She was sweet to that annoying Ryan. What else did he want? Geez!!
These naysayers will do anything just to get their inane type of thinking out there.
I do wish the best for the Jolie-Pitt fam and hope that whatever the critics say, all the blessings will come back to the JP Co. 10x better.
It seems that everyone is jealous of this beautiful family that they retort to senseless ramblings and it sucks that people are nefarious like that, damn. I have more to say but I’ll stop.
God Bless the JP Co. for all the help they do to make this sick, sad, and cruel world a better place to some people. Much reverence to Brad and Angelina and all the others that are trying to make a difference [rather than getting big egos and dealing with superficialities 24/7 like some do].

Actually, at the Golden Globes, I heard Angie tell the innane interviewer that they don’t focus on any of the papz or the tabz – they are living their lives (and happily it seems to me). More power to them and their growing family…I pray also for their health and well being as it gives us so much more to be witness to the bigness we can be in the world.

Contact Music is reporting that he has pulled out of the awards due to filming also. When did ET report this? I thought I watched it yesterday and I don’t remember them mentioning it.
