Tonight Morrissey kicks off the first of three consecutive nights at the Hammerstein Ballroom. These will be killer shows as Morrissey carries the presence that make certain shows have a buzz to them. These shows will be incredible.
Morrissey will be playing without opening act KRISTEENYOUNG as she has been recently booted from the tour.
KRISTEENYOUNG has toured with Morrissey for over over 150 shows since March
2006, including all U.S. dates in 2007.
Girl In A Coma – named after one of the Smiths’ most famous songs – will be the replacement act.
So what did the New York based Young do to get booted?
According to reports at morrissey-solo.com, some audience members were chanting “Morrissey” during Young’s set, to which she replied, “Morrissey gives good head, I mean, er, cunnilingus…”
