Hey there, you lovely Snarkarinos! From time to time I get free movies to review (w00t!) from Hollyweird, and I thought it would be fun to tell you what I thought – and if you should run out and buy the DVD. Ready? Okay!
Bolt
: I have to admit I wasn’t really excited to see this movie. I mean, come on – a dog and Miley Cyrus? However, I was VERY pleasantly surprised. Great story, great visuals, and the kids loved it. Should I buy it? YES!!!!
Bedtime Stories
: I like Adam Sandler, so I was psyched. But as the movie went on…and on…and on…it just got worse and worse. Flat jokes, tired Sandler schtick we’ve all seen a million times in his other movies, and by mid-movie I was bored stiff and reading a book. Should I buy it? NOPE!!!!
Doubt
: Not a movie for the fainthearted crowd. Takes a sensitive subject (child abuse in the church) and explores it with the help of Meryl Streep, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Viola Davis, and Amy Adams. I was riveted. Should I buy it? YES!!!!!
