Movie Stars in Politics Poll Results

Countdown for Barack Obama Event - Los Angeles, CA

So, in the wake of Patricia Arquette’s door to door visits to ask people to vote for Obama for president, I asked what you thought of movie stars and politics. It seems like people are pretty divided on the issue. 39% pro, 26% against and 17% unsure. And then 17% of you who are just going to be so thrilled to see Patricia Arquette in person that you could care less why she’s knocking on your door!

Should Movie Stars Get Involved in Politics?

  • Absolutely. They have the power to get people involved and they should use it.

    9-39% of all votes

  • No way! They should just quietly go into the voting booth, make their choice and leave.

    6-26% of all votes

  • I’m not sure. When they’re trying to convince people to vote for my candidate, I’m happy they are involved.

    4-17% of all votes

  • If I ever open my front door and see Patricia Arquette standing there, I won’t care if it is to push a candidate or to sell me insurance! I just want to see her in person.

    4-17% of all votes

Total Votes: 23
