Looks like the film’s writer has written a pilot and there are plans to make Brad’s and Angie’s first movie together into a television show.
I really wish they’d have left this one alone. I may be wrong, but I can’t see this one seeing any success on the small screen. What do you think?

I agree with you Robyn. This is a very special movie designed only for Brad and Angie. I think it will devalue the movie being showed in a small screen and being shown regularly.

i agree… i don’t think it will work on tv unless it’s brad and angie… i just saw it again on dvd the other night and can’t help but laugh whenever the director, the writer and the producer mentioned “brad and angie had such great chemistry”… they couldn’t stop talking about it.. hehe… :)

They are unique, it’s very difficult to recreate the same chemistry for others actors, maybe the only ones could be Roy Dupuis and Peta Wilson,from la femme Nikita tv show, as i read in another topic.

Hi…just wondering if this news is new. I know it was brought up about a year ago and nothing appears to have come through. So are they reconsidering again? Either way, I can’t see it working. B and A were the reason the movie worked. Could be interesting.

i’m a bit interested about how the smiths’ marriage life continues, with the child added. it’s a funny movie for me. a complete entertaining movie.
but well, like the rest of you here, i doubt it will work on small screen. i even doubt it will work well again on the big screen for the second time.
cuz people won’t be as curious as they were about B & A’s chemistry anymore, since we all know they indeed have a very strong chemistry. *lol*
and the news about their life are everyday menu in tabs.
