Sofia was outstanding in my personal opinion, Abigail Breslin too. I loved their scenes. I didn't sympathise with Sara as much as I did when reading the book. I can't decide if it was down to Cameron Diaz's portrayal or the script. If you're a die-hard fan of the book, you'll probably be a little disappointed. One little part bugged me, although I tried to go in with an open mind, not expecting it to be the exact same. And obviously time means they had to sacrifice certain aspects. Still, overall, I really enjoyed the film. I read some reviews who said it was confusing, I didn't find that at all. I thought it flowed pretty well. Take a box of tissues though, I was weeping a lot! Not sure what that says about me!! Sofia is pretty much bald the whole movie, Cameron Diaz only one scene. I guessed that was why, it was quite harrowing in parts. I'm on the give Ariel a boyfriend campaign next season now. I saw the film yesterday evening.
